Prof. Dr. Jürgen Weigand ist seit 2015 stellvertretender Rektor und Prorektor Academic Programs der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Er ist Professor für Ökonomie und Akademischer Direktor des Instituts für Industrieökonomie und des Instituts für verantwortungsvolle Unternehmensführung an der WHU. Seine Spezialgebiete sind u.a. Unternehmens- und Wettbewerbsstrategie sowie Corporate Governance. Er hat über 20 Jahre Beratungserfahrung mit Unternehmen und im öffentlichen Sektor. Zudem ist der Co-Founder und Vorsitzender des Beirats der StrategyFrame® GmbH sowie Co-Host des Podcast »Hoffnung ist keine Strategie«. Jürgen has served as Deputy Dean and Associate Dean for Academic Programs at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management since 2015. He is Chair Professor of Economics at the Institute for Industrial Organization and Academic Director of the Center for Responsible Leadership at WHU. His specialist areas include corporate and competitive strategy, antitrust and corporate governance. He has more than 20 years’ experience in consultancy with companies and in the public sector.
