Kate Mallinder. lives with her husband, four children and two cats near Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire. She grew up in Solihull and went to college in Leeds. If left to her own devices, she'd live on a window seat with a good book and a never-ending cup of tea. She recently completed her MA in writing for children at Bath Spa.
