Daughter of a career diplomat, Kerry grew up in Australia and postings in New Zealand, Africa, Europe and Asia, a mobile childhood that probably stimulated the imagination and certainly ended up with an eclectic education. She has had a number of careers, the longest of which was as a member of the Australian Public Service; other careers include as a natural resources consultant and as a fitness personal trainer. Now retired, she lives in Canberra with three cats and a collection of (largely unfinished) projects, varying from further writings to drawings, woodworks and her garden. It has been a lifetime of writing, sketching and generally trying to create things, with mixed success but (usually) a lot of enjoyment.
