Kevin “KAYR” Robinson. is a two-time USA TODAY Best-Selling Author, entrepreneur, real estate investor and operator, and speaker whose journey from poverty in West Philadelphia to financial independence reflects the power of discipline, mindset, resilience, and faith. A graduate of Bowdoin College and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, he built a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio comprising more than 160 rental units and founded multiple companies, including a property management firm. Before launching his own ventures, KAYR held positions at Goldman Sachs, Sirios Capital Management, and Truist Securities. He also serves on the boards of Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Grove Collective Foundation, and The Great Young Society II, supporting leadership development and educational opportunity. KAYR’s life story was featured in Black in White Space: The Enduring Impact of Color in Everyday Life by Elijah Anderson, Sterling Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at Yale University. His debut memoir, Can’t Break Me: How I Shifted My Mindset and Overcame the Odds, became a two-time USA TODAY Best Seller and is part of the permanent collection of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at The New York Public Library. The book shares the wealth-building habits, real estate investing strategies, and mindset framework that carried him from hardship and instability to entrepreneurship, real estate ownership, and long-term financial freedom.
