Kirsty Howarth lives in a small village in North-West Leicestershire with her family, Chris (Partner), Ethan (son) and Poppy (daughter). Her love of the outdoors and her young children have inspired the story of Willow's Wood. Growing up in an old mining town in the midlands that backed onto, wasteland, woods, fields, and meadows; Kirsty has fond memories of adventure filled days with her siblings and friends. Every day was an adventure and full of imagination and is something she wishes and hopes for, not only her own children, but for every child growing up.
