Lee Read is a qualified bricklayer working as a building control surveyor. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Engineering and a PhD in the Built Environment. Alongside his surveying job, on a part-time basis, Lee has worked as a funding assessor for the E. U. , an occasional university lecturer, and until 2023, he was a corporal in the RAF Police. Lee is a Fellow of the CABE, a Fellow of the ICWCI and a Fellow of the ILM. He has four adult sons and twin grandsons. He lives on a fruit farm where he produces bottled fruit juices.
