Linda B. Palmer and her husband, Daniel, moved to South Thomaston in Midcoast, Maine, in 2020. Previously they lived in Kent, Connecticut for 44 years. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in 2025. Linda's great-great-great-grandfather, George Washington Wallace, lived on 16 acres in Lubec, Maine. He was a fisherman, lost at sea. She volunteered as a docent at the General Henry Knox Museum in Thomaston, Maine. She is a member of the Thomaston Historical Society in Thomaston, Maine, the Wessaweskeag Historical Society in South Thomaston, Maine, and the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine. Before moving to Maine, she had never heard of Major General Henry Knox. Maine was part of Massachusetts and did not become a separate state until 1820. She is the author of Wallace Nutting: Father of the Colonial Revival Movement, published in 2020. Linda and her husband collected Wallace Nutting pictures, books, furniture, and ephemera for over 30 years.
