M. Jason Highsmith. is a dual licensed physical therapist and prosthetist. He is also a medical scientist with a concentration in clinical trials and patient-oriented translational research. He served in a few positions with the US Department of Veterans Affairs including service as a research physical therapist, the Deputy Chief of Research for the congressionally mandated dual agency VA-DoD Extremity Trauma & Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE) and he currently serves as National Director of the Orthotic, Prosthetic & Pedorthic Clinical Services Program Office.
