Machiko Kyo started her career in comics in 2004 when she began posting one-panel comics online. These were published in collected form in 2008 as Sennen Gaho. (Millenium Pictorial). During the COVID-19 epidemic, she posted a comic diary of daily life on social media that was later published as Distance My #stayhome Diary. and Essential My #stayhome Diary. 2021-2022. Her manga cocoon. has been adapted into a stage play and an animated film. Her latest works are Orizuru. (origami crane), and Rusuban Neko Kinako.
