My name is Madeline Mitchell. I am a writer and a survivor. During my twenty one years, I've had to undergo four open heart surgeries, the most recent one being a heart transplant in 2017. I have had a passion for writing for as long as I can remember. My life has been over two decades of both physical and mental illness, so when I have no one to turn to, I feel that sometimes the wisest words I could listen to are my own.
