Marie Zernovoj is an intrepid explorer who has traveled to over 33 countries. Her love for writing was sparked from her travels, inspired by stories she wanted to share with her grandkids. Marie's books, Arigato Japan, The Feeling that you Feel, and This Extraordinary Feeling, takes children on exciting adventures to far-off places to learn about new countries/cultures and to teach kids love and kindness. When she's not on an adventure, Marie enjoys her home in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. Marie has worked as a principal for the Center For Peer Driven Change impacting low-income communities worldwide. Now, she aims to improve children's literacy rates in the Bay Area. USF and Harvard Kennedy School exec ed alumni.
