May Parker has won various awards including the Oxfordshire Special Conservation Award and the BBC Wildife Magazine Diarist of the Year. She designed the Cumnor Millennium Garden which incorporated the Patrick Moore Garden, has also written numerous wildlife articles and gives illustrated talks to local groups.
