Michael Follett is a qualified Early Years teacher, and has worked for numerous local councils, charities and government departments as consultant and strategist for play and children's spaces. He was a Trustee of Play England, and in 2011 he set up OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) which delivers training and consultancy nationally and internationally on play in schools, play equipment and landscapes development, and development of play policy.
