Miguel Ángel Ruiz, better known as Don Miguel Ruiz, is a renowned Nagual master, author of the classic The Four Agreements and the bestseller The Mastery of Love, among other books. He was born into a family of healers and was raised in rural Mexico by a healer mother and a Nagual grandfather in the Toltec tradition. Today a spiritual leader followed by millions of people, Don Miguel Ruiz practiced as a surgeon until a near-death experience brought him closer to the traditions of the Toltecs, following in the footsteps of his ancestors. He has dedicated much of his life to sharing the teachings of that ancient civilization to guide the individual to personal freedom.
