Nancy J. Thomas has served for over thirty years as a cross-cultural missionary in Latin America and has a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary in Intercultural Studies. She has published six poetry books including The Secret Colors of God (2005), Close to the Ground (2016), and The Language of Light (2024). She is married to Hal Thomas, and they have two married kids, seven grandkids, and three great-grandkids. They call Newberg, Oregon, home.
