P. W. Dunn. lives in a suburb of Chicago with his Richard (everyone should get one) in a hundred-year-old house that, sadly, isn't haunted. When not writing, he teaches creative writing, linguistics, and literature at a small Midwestern university. He enjoys cooking, gardening, studying dead languages, and playing the piano with much more enthusiasm than skill. He also enjoys long walks in nature and has hiked the Pacific Crest Trail-about a hundred yards of it. In addition to fiction, he writes nonfiction, poetry, and the occasional translation.
