Autor/-in: Patrick Sylvain

Patrick Sylvain is Associate Professor in the Department of Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at UMass Boston. He is a Haitian-American scholar, educator, poet, social and literary critic whose work engages the culture, politics, language, and religion of Haiti and its diaspora. He is the author of multiple poetry collections (Fire on the Tongue; Unfinished Dreams). Sylvain holds degrees from UMass Boston, Harvard University, Boston University, and Brandeis University.
