In his sixties, Paul Smyth considers himself to have been around the block of life more than once. He was blessed to have been raised in a Christian home, where faith in the Lord was as important to life as air and water. He began to write devotionals in his fifties, not only to better hear God's voice but to encourage others along the way. He writes from his heart as he strives to live according to the small office wall plaque, which belonged to his father, that says, "Trust God and live one day at a time. " He loves to write and daily devotionals seem the perfect step forward as God directs his path.
