Piotr Stalmaszczyk is professor of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Lodz. His research is concerned with the philosophy of language and linguistics. Recent publications include the edited volume "The Cambridge Handbook of the Philosophy of Language" (CUP, 2022), and the co-edited volume "The Lvov-Warsaw School and Contemporary Philosophy of Language" (BRILL, 2022). He was the president of the Polish Linguistic Society for five years.
