Polly Betzner Milford, known professionally as Polly Betzner, is an author, speaker, educator, actress, humanitarian, and minister whose life reflects the power of God's redemption and the courage to begin again. Born in Arkansas, raised in Memphis, and a graduate of high school in New York, Polly has called Southern California home for more than two decades. Her journey has taken her through the worlds of entertainment, real estate, education, and ministry, each season shaping her passion for helping others find hope and purpose. Polly is the author of You Got Daddy Issues, a deeply personal memoir exploring her family's connection to the Iran-Contra scandal through her father, Gary Betzner , and her own journey toward healing, forgiveness, and faith. Her story also reached an international audience through HBO's acclaimed documentary The Invisible Pilot, opening conversations about family trauma, resilience, and redemption. A lifelong learner, Polly earned degrees in marketing and interior design before completing a master's degree in education and a Special Education teaching credential. She is also a graduate of the Global Awakening School of Supernatural Ministry under Randy Clark. Throughout her career, she has been a motivational speaker, humanitarian, real estate professional, educator, and ministry leader. Her diverse background also includes modeling and acting. Polly appeared on the covers of national calendars for NAPA Auto Parts and Snap-on Tools, earned titles including Miss Hawaiian Tropic and Miss Dixie Speedway for NASCAR, and has appeared in music videos for Katy Perry and Maroon 5, as well as commercials and other film projects. Today, Polly serves as a Special Education teacher while continuing to write, speak, and minister. She is the founder of Daddy Issues International Ministries, a nonprofit committed to bringing hope and healing to children and families through Jesus Christ. Inspired by a mission trip to Ejido El Marítimo, Baja California, Polly is launching Daddy Fields of Hope, a ministry that partners with local churches to build safe soccer fields where children can play, families can gather, and the love of Christ can be shared. The first Field of Hope will be built beside Iglesia Cristiana Maná del Cielo, in loving memory of her friends' daughter,whose legacy continues to inspire hope for future generations. Polly believes that every setback can become a setup for God's greater purpose and that no story is beyond redemption. Whether through writing, teaching, speaking, or ministry, her greatest desire is to point others to the hope and restoring love of Jesus Christ.
