Rachel Jones studied Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art and the Royal Academy, where she developed her vibrant and distinctive style. In her acclaimed work, Jones explores ideas of community and shared history as she celebrates Black culture. She was the 2021 creator of Harper’s Bazaar art cover and was included in the landmark exhibition, Mixing It Up: Painting Today at The Hayward Gallery in 2021. Other recent exhibitions include SMIIIILLLLEEEE, Thaddeus Ropac Gallery (London); Blessings Pon Blessings, Harlesden High Street (London); and A Focus on Painting, Thaddeus Ropac Gallery (London). Jones is represented by Chisenhale Gallery and Thaddeus Ropac Gallery.
