Randall "Randy" Warner has been a trial judge of the Arizona Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona since 2007. He has presided over a broad variety of civil, criminal, family, and juvenile cases, and has written hundreds of bench trialdecisions and thousands of rulings on every kind of motion imaginable. Randy was an appellate lawyer and commercial litigator before he was ajudge, writing briefs and arguing cases in state and federal appellate andtrial courts. Randy has taught written and oral advocacy to lawyers for more than25 years, and teaches judicial writing and civil case management to judges. Randy is the author of three law journal articles on the law-fact distinctionand the division of labor between judges and juries in the American justicesystem.
