Ricky Fodor is an author, speaker, and men's health advocate whose story began the way most turning points do - with something breaking. Born in Brazil and raised bilingual, Ricky left home at a young age and spent the next twenty-five years building an international career in business development, working with premium lifestyle and outdoor brands across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He currently serves as Founder and Consulting Director of Nexa Global Consulting. In November 2023, a job loss stopped that momentum cold. The stillness that followed took him through the deaths of both of his parents within three months of each other and into a doctor's office he had been putting off for years - an appointment that, had he still been traveling, he would have missed. What he learned there became the reason he wrote this book. Pedals of Faith - published in English and Portuguese as Pedais da Fé - is his account of that season: the waiting, the crushing, the climb, and the God he found in all three. Ricky is the founder of Faith Over Fear, a men's health advocacy movement, with a fundraising ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro planned for 2027. He lives in Bentonville, Arkansas, with his lovely wife, Raquel, and his angel dog, Indy.
