Robert Hugh Benson (1871-1914). was an English Anglican priest who joined the Roman Catholic Church in 1903 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1904. He was lauded in his own day as one of the leading figures in English literature and was the author of many novels and apologetic works. Mark Bosco, S. J. , is an associate professor at Loyola University Chicago, holding a joint position in the departments of English and theology, where he also directs the Joan and Bill Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage. Michael P. Murphy. is an instructor in theology and director of the Catholic Studies Program at Loyola University Chicago. Martyn Sampson. teaches English literature as an associate lecturer at the University of the West of England in Bristol.
