Ron Kubati. holds two PhDs: one in modern and contemporary philosophy from the Università degli Studi di Bari, and one in Italian studies from the University of Chicago. He is a lecturer at Pace University, New York campus, and his articles have been published in edited volumes and peer-reviewed journals. He has also published a collection of poems in Albanian (1992), as well as four successful novels in Italian: Va e non torna. (2000, Leaving with No Return), M. (2002), Il buio del mare. (2007, The Darkness of the Sea), and La vita dell'eroe. (2016, The Hero's Life).
