R. M. McGurk. has been a keen writer since receiving a scratch and smell sticker in Prep for her story Danika the Dinosaur. This was soon followed by Paddington fan fiction and a 'chapter' book called Gone with the Wind. with only two chapters. When she's not writing she is working as a primary school teacher, Ruth enjoys watching musicals and eating lots of lemon slices.
