Sanford Levine, a Brooklyn-based writer, has written a number of screenplays and a television episode of Father Dowling. A former taxi driver, salesman, dispatcher, managing editor, and journalist, he is also the author of a mystery series in which the main character writes an advice column with the premise that any problem can be solved by a scene from a movie.
