Scott McPhee is a retired University Professor and Dean. Over a career spanning more than fifty years, he published numerous non-fiction books and professional journal articles. Now retired, Scott has turned his scholarly eye toward the world of fiction, with a particular passion for middle-grade fantasy. Tiny Elf and the Clockmaker's Echo is the second book in The Heartline Chronicles series. Scott lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife and two very pampered dogs. In retirement, he continues to explore the intersections of magic, machinery, and the human heart.
