Scott Wiese ist ein kanadischer Künstler, Aktivist und Fotograf. Nachdem einem Fotografiestudium in Prag und Montreal, dokumentierte und unterstützte er mehrere Jahre lang die Klimabewegung in Deutschland. Seine Arbeit ist geprägt durch Multimedialität und umfasst Fotografie, Videografie, Buchproduktion, Skulpturen und Installationen. Seine Arbeit basiert sowohl auf Dokumentation, als auch auf Fiktion und konzentriert sich auf gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen, die Umsetzung von Macht und Zukunftsspekulationen. Scott Wiese is a Canadian born artist, activist and photographer. He studied photography in Prague & Montreal, and has spent several years supporting and documenting the climate movements across Germany. His work is defined by a broad multi-media practice encompassing photography, video, book- making, sculpture, and installation. His work is grounded in both documentary and fiction, and focuses on social histories, the implementation of power and speculative futures.
