Sean McCormack BSc (Hons), MVB, MRCVS studied Animal Science as an undergraduate, followed by his Veterinary Medicine degree at University College Dublin. Growing up in Co. Kildare, Sean spent his childhood with his family terriers Sheba and Suki. He was animal-obsessed as a child and knew that he wanted to be a vet from a very young age. Prior to becoming Head Vet at tails.com, Sean spent six years in private practice at various first opinion and referral small animal and exotics clinics. He has always had a strong interest in animal welfare and nutrition, and it was while working in practice that he first heard of tails.com. He was really excited by the prospect of individually tailored diets; something that wasn't currently on the market but could be of huge benefit to not only dogs and their owners, but to vets, too.
