Silvia Zago is a lecturer in Egyptology at the University of Liverpool and a member of the Royal Historical Society. She specializes in Egyptian religion and afterlife texts, and has authored several studies that encompass the evolution of notions of the otherworld over time, magic and ritual practices, as well as the conceptualization and use of sacred landscape in ancient Egypt.
