Simon Rees has an MA in social and cultural history and has worked as a journalist/freelance writer for more than 20 years. He has written regularly for numerous history- and military-focussed publications, including Military Heritage, Military History and Military Illustrated. His connections with the British-Polish community stretch back to the early 2000s when he started researching the Polish-Bolshevik War of 1920.
