Steven Trotter is an award-winning educational leader, author, and leadership coach with more than two decades of experience across metropolitan, rural, and residential school settings in Victoria. A long-serving principal and system leader, he is the 2025 Australian Principal of the Year (Government Primary) and a 2024 ACEL New Voice in School Leadership. Steven is also the author of The Art of Skimming Stones: Leading Sustained Improvement in Schools. His work bridges research and practice, helping leaders and systems navigate complexity with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
