Sue Stratford opened her knitting store, The Knitting Hut, in 2006, and soon started designing patterns to use up yarn that hadn’t sold in the store. One design led to another and she began writing best-selling knitting books including Sue Stratford’s Knitted Aviary. She has collaborated with charities and brands such as Save The Children, Innocent Smoothies, Nestle Shreddies, CBeebies, Erika Knight, and Barnardos.
