Susan Kralovansky Holt is the award-winning author of nineteen picture books, including There Was a Tall Texan Who Swallowed a Flea and the bilingual title The Book That Jake Borrowed. A former librarian and popular school and conference presenter, she is passionate about fostering a love of reading and writing in children. Susan lives in Georgetown, Texas, where she continues to write and illustrate-and occasionally treat herself to salted-almond chocolate bars.
