Terje Tonne came in contact with Gurdieff's ideas in the early 1970's. Together with his wife, he has led a Gurdjieff group in Oslo for 35 years. He has had a long close relationship with professor Meredith Thing, George Cornelius and Jovce Collin-Smith. He is a retired conservator with expertise in fire-damaged paintings.
