49 Windows asks those profound existential questions 'Who am I. ' 'Who are you. ' 'Is there such a thing as the afterlife. ' and most importantly 'Where are the Nostalgic Crocodiles. ' The main protagonist of the story, Makmed, barely realises that he has died. Undeterred, he embarks on a vast journey across time, space and culture. From his pocket he takes a deck of cards.
