Beschreibung
Following his newfound faith, Michael is determined to stay out of trouble and earn back his wings, but life has other ideas. He falls in love with Sally, a Black Marine. He must fight off racists, bullies, and dissident Cuban intruders at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, gaining leadership and combat experience, and somehow keeping his growing faith. Promoted to Quartermaster, and posted to an LST, bound for the Southwest Pacific; While suffering an abusive overbearing commander and Pacific storms, he confronts Indonesian insurgents and rogue CIA agents. When Sally is kidnapped, Michael is on his own to find a way to rescue her while dealing with government interference. His faith is tested and the question is, can he endure.
