Bravo to You, Henry tells a story of two relationships: One between a husband and wife, and the other, on a much larger scale, between God and humanity. Both relationships establish the story's central theme: Choosing to believe or not believe in God and eternal salvation. The story takes place during the final days of the world as depicted in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. It is important to know that while the books in the Bible were written over centuries, complete manuscripts of the Holy Bible existed in single volumes by the fourth century CE, and the first printed version from manuscripts appeared in the fifteenth century. Since then, there have been several interpretations of the New Testament's events and timelines. One of the more popular and controversial interpretations is Dispensationalism, which was introduced in 1830 by John Nelson Darby. Maintaining a strict interpretation of the book of Revelation, his timelines extend for more than a thousand years for all the prophesied events of the book of Revelation to unfold. Bravo to You, Henry does not follow that viewpoint. Instead, Bravo to You, Henry treats timelines as a relative concept. In this story, the timelines for all the biblical events in Revelation are substantially shorter, unfolding within one year, more or less. I have discovered that some respected biblical teachers believe in an overall timeline that lasts as little as a single day. Since there are such widespread interpretations regarding this important aspect, I felt comfortable presenting my story as I have. Regarding the biblical events, I took creative liberties to best fit the narrative. For example, the Bible indicates that the rapture will also include the resurrection of all righteous dead. In Bravo to You, Henry, this resurrection occurs significantly later. With apologies for diverging from the true meanings of various other events in the book of Revelation, one worth mentioning is Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. " Henry's feelings and actions in both heaven and hell certainly stray from this heavenly condition.
