Beschreibung
Eleonora, an office worker, starts every week with a knot in her stomach that she calls 'Monday syndrome'. Caught between a freezing open-plan office and short-tempered bosses, she copes with her anxiety by stuffing a drawer full of energy bars and biscuits. The signs are piling up: twenty kilos heavier, chronic insomnia, and a bad mood that spoils even her evenings. When a dear friend is left in a critical condition following a car crash, Eleonora realises just how fragile time is and decides to listen to her body, which is screaming at her to stop. A silent rebellion takes shape: she turns off notifications after office hours, enrols on a photography course, and creates an Excel spreadsheet listing everything that drains her. Seven months later, after yet another marathon meeting, she walks into her boss's office and hands in her resignation. Her 'Act One' ends with an unexpected void: no triumph, just exhaustion and a diary to reinvent. The second part follows her leap into freelancing. Eleonora starts a blog, lands her first client via social media, gets her quotes wrong and experiences instability. A career coach encourages her to recognise her self-sabotage ("you're afraid of succeeding") and guides her in turning the skills she's acquired over the years into services. Each chapter highlights a specific obstacle and the corresponding step towards inner growth. In the finale, we don't find her on a beach, with her laptop closed and a cocktail in her hand: freedom isn't the absence of Mondays, but the ability to choose how to fill them.
