Beschreibung
The owner of a successful bridal hair and makeup company, Kacie Faulling Myers brings humor, insight, and emotion to her highly personal memoir, shedding light on the internal struggles of being a business owner in the cutthroat wedding industry while maintaining good personal relationships and being a working mom. Her purpose in telling her story is not only to let readers see inside her daily life, but to share with them the importance of resilience, independence, and even failures. Kacie launched her company ten years ago, hitting roadblocks at every point along her road to success, including issues with staff and clients, family, and personal relationships. Raw and explicit, her narrative does not sugarcoat the lows, but seeks to motivate readers to fulfill their own ambitions. Kacie's personality comes through on every page, writing as she would speak in conversation in her everyday life. She wants her readers to cry with her, laugh with her, and feel her truth behind the words. This self-help memoir is filled with great advice, wedding stories you won't believe, and a candid look behind the scenes in the bridal industry. It is the perfect read for brides-to-be, young business owners, wedding coordinators, cosmetology students, salon owners, wedding industry professionals, students afraid to start their own business, as well as anyone who has dealt with depression and anxiety.
