Beschreibung
A working reference for commissioning teams responsible for delivering mission-critical facilities that meet the Owner's Project Requirements (OPR) on the first pass. 1. 1 Purpose. Data center commissioning (Cx) is the structured, documented process that verifies mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and controls systems are designed, installed, and operate in accordance with the Owner's Project Requirements (OPR) and the Basis of Design (BOD). Unlike commissioning in commercial office buildings, data center commissioning must validate not only steady-state operation but also every credible failure scenario a Tier III or Tier IV facility is expected to survive - utility loss, generator failure to start, UPS module failure, chiller trip, and N1 or 2N redundancy loss. This book provides a complete set of checklists, RAG-scored verification tables, weighted scoring matrices, and FMEA risk frameworks organized by commissioning level (Cx-1 through Cx-5), by building system, and by project phase - from design review through seasonal/deferred testing performed up to twelve months after substantial completion. 1. 2 Who This Book Is For. Commissioning Authorities (CxA) and third-party commissioning agents. MEP design engineers performing design-phase Cx reviews. General contractors and MEP subcontractors coordinating start-up and testing. Data center owners, operators, and facility managers accepting the completed asset. Colocation and hyperscale program managers standardizing Cx across a portfolio. Charles Nehme Global MEP Consultant. https: //bit. ly/m/HVAC
