Der Völkermord an den Sinti und Roma und die Bundesrepublik

This study examines the discursive struggle for the recognition of the Nazi genocide of the Sinti and Roma in the Federal Republic of Germany until 1990. At least 200,000 Sinti and Roma were murdered under National Socialist rule. Survivors were met by the West German authorities and population with racist mindsets long after 1945.
