From Peace to War, from War to Peace

This book addresses the fundamental question of how wars begin and how they end. The various articles are based on military history and political and cultural science, and offer multi-perspective insights into aspects of a changeful transatlantic history from the beginning of World War I to the present. The analysis of historical developments, and the explanations and possibilities of contextualizing current security challenges in our recent history can provide a valuable orientation in dealing with current security challenges in the understanding of a lesson learned.
