Deutsch. Das Fotobuch "No Fat Poetry" ist ein demokratisches Match zwischen Text und Bild, ohne Unteroder Überordnung. Die neuen Medien kommunizieren inzwischen Bilder in ungeahntem Ausmaß. Das heißt, Bilder sind heute noch viel stärker abhängig von ihren Kontexten. Und in diesen Kontexten generieren sie Bedeutungen, die sich ändern können, je nachdem, wo die Bilder auftauchen oder auf wen sie treffen - hier auf Text und Typografie. Auch die Herkunft der Texte ist demokratisch, und fast alle Texte sind recycelt (Samplings). Es handelt sich um O-Töne von Künstlerinnen und Fotografinnen, von der Straße oder aus der Fototheorie und Ästhetik. Und schließlich ist auch die Beteiligung der Fotografinnen demokratisch, sie reicht von jungen bis zu arrivierten Fotografinnen (z. B. Thomas Demand, Alex Prager, Jörg Sasse, Alec Soth, Josef Sudek, Jürgen Teller, Jeff Wall). Englisch. Nowadays, new media communicates a hitherto unimagined quantity of images. This means that, today, images are far more dependent on their context, and it is within these contexts that they generate an importance that may change, depending on where the image appears or who or what the image is juxtaposed with—in this case, text and typography. The origins of the texts are democratic too, and almost all of them are recycled (samplings). They are quotes by artists and photographers; they come from the street or from photo - graphic theory or aesthetics. Ultimately, the involvement of the photographers is also democratic, including newcomers and established photographers alike (e. g. , Thomas Demand, Alex Prager, Jörg Sasse, Alec Soth, Josef Sudek, Jürgen Teller, Jeff Wall).
