Employee motivation - a concept that is integral to managers' day-to-day work. This thesis is devoted to this topic. The research carried out in this thesis focuses on the various types of workplace incentives. The aim is to examine the impact of such motivational measures, in particular incentive events, on corporate objectives. The first part of this thesis explains the theory in more detail, whilst the second part examines the practical aspects through an empirical study of companies in Salzburg. The findings reveal that incentive events have a fundamentally positive influence on the corporate structure. However, this is subject to the strict condition that the circumstances of such an event must meet certain criteria in advance, which are also set out in the thesis.
