This collective work, written by twelve authors, is the result of an international conference organised in Lausanne by the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe in partnership with the Institute of History at the University of Hildesheim. The event, which brought together academic experts and high-level practition-ers, revisited several key moments in the history of European integration since 1948.
