Beschreibung
The story follows a protagonist who begins experiencing recurring dreams where a voice repeatedly calls their name from just beyond perception, gradually revealing itself as something aware, adaptive, and possibly tracking the dreamer across repeated cycles of sleep. This leads to the discovery of a structured "Archive" beneath dreaming-a system that stores, organizes, and replays dreams as indexed records, suggesting that sleep is not random but maintained within a vast, adaptive repository of consciousness. Within this Archive, the protagonist encounters evidence that their own dreams are being stored and retrieved, not merely experienced, and that patterns such as hallways, voices, and unreachable presences recur across many minds. Deeper within unstable, misfiled dream layers, they meet a mysterious girl who exists "between files," aware of being overwritten and displaced across overlapping versions of reality, and who reveals that the protagonist is similarly unindexed and recurring across multiple entries. As the Archive begins to recognize their proximity and shared instability, it attempts to correct or relocate them, implying that both the protagonist and the girl are anomalies within a controlled system of dream-records that is actively monitoring, categorizing, and now attempting to separate them.
