It has been designed to inspire and educate about sustainable living on planet Earth, while also strengthening students' connections to their local community and to nature. The project-based learning structure fosters deeper knowledge through active exploration, while place-based learning throughout the course engages students with their local community, physical environment, local history, people, and culture.
