There is already the highest recognition for this title, which introduces the snakes of the families Elapidae (poisonous adder), Viperidae (vipers) and Crotalidae (grubber otters). The book extends the description further by about 40 types in contrast to the previous edition. Countless additional colour photos as well as a completely new layout make it even more attractive. Also new is the chapter about the legal background of the poisonous snake care which differs between in the individual states. This chapter was written by the lawyer Dietrich Rössel, who specialises in animal keeping law.
